If the plastic lines melted, they are also crimped off. Those are there for fires, get hot, and self seal off so they dont leak out and feed a fire.

Anyways any place that sells Aeroquip, earls etc will have stainless braided lines. Try summitracing.com or jegs.com for a start. That stuff is $$$ though, just a forewarning. You can buy the offbrand stuff from summit, its their in house brand. Tad cheaper and i havent seen any problems with it.

I suggest you can Jim at TubeTech and he can get you set up with the fittings you need to connect from the stock plastic lines to stainless, and then stainless to stock rails. You will spend prolly 50-60 bucks with him, about 25-30 on stainless lines (-6an), and another 15-20 on stainless hose fittings. Good luck.

When I did my LT1 convertion into my 84 corvette I had a local hose shop fab them for me. I got two 36'' hoses with quick disconects on one side and A/N fittings on the other for $36, about 1/2 as Jegs

The larger mail-order companies (Summit, Jegs, etc) carry just about anything you could ever want from Earl's. As said before, it ain't cheap by any means.
