Can someone please tell me who carries the oil level sensors and what it might costs?

I'd be done with my car, if I didn't have to wait for these damn hold you up parts.

 

I would have to say a dealer or a junkyard. Check with mark @ www.hpsalvage.com. He might have some lying around.

I always wonder when these questions come up if the ask-er has already done the obvious things like check Napa, AZ, Pep boys etc.. Maybe it should be obvious. Anyway, if you can't get it from the large parts chains then you will have to go through a dealer, Carparts.com or GM parts direct on the web. I personally like to deal with Dal Slabaugh from Van Devere. He has saved me hundreds with the internet discount.

 

I got one from Autozone, but I think it was the wrong one because the light is still on.

 

I asked this question because I checked with all the part stores and they don't sell them. It's obvious the dealer would have them...I have the parts department locked in my phone. I thought maybe somone on here with more experience would know who might carry them besides the dealer.

 

If you're talking about the one that goes in the oil pan, I got one from a local auto parts store.
