Where does the oil come out of in a rear main seal leak?

I'm thinking mine is shot because I have oil dripping out of where my trans meets the bellhousing, is that where it usually leaks from?

yes, thats where a main seal leak comes from but if an intake leak is bad enough it can look like a main seal leak. feel the back of your intake and see if you can feel oil where the intake meets the block in back.

I had oil dripping there too when my oil level sensor was leaking. Make sure it isnt that first.

Double check that its not trans fluid, the front seal on a trans can leak too
