ok i was checking my fuel pressure today, and i looked down and saw that this is missing the hose, could this cause a ses light after going down the road, this is on the passanger side head right next to the manifold "intake"
you can see it in the pics i was able to spin the little elbow so you can see it better

Checked my 94Z and I don't have that thing. I have a vacume solinoid, but it don't look like that. It could be the vent for the solinoid.

Suggestion.... make up a "signature" with the year, trans and any significant mods for your car. Not all LT1 years are the same, as you can see from the confusion. I assume yours is a 96 or 97, since the 2nd picture looks like the EEC canister purge flow detector switch. 93-95 does not have that switch... its for OBD-II.

This diagram on Shoebox's tech pages shows the flow switch (part #11) and the connections that go to it and the EEC canister purge valve. I couldn't open the 1st pic, so I have no idea if that was what you were trying to point out.

The one vacum hose that leads to no mans land in the second pic. goes no where. It is only there as a relief/ vent hose. It does not connect to anything and jsut hangs out right there!

That little vent tube gets lots of posts. I posted what it was on two different threads just the other day.
