Crane Cams PowerMax2050?

I have the PowerMax cam in now and the lift# are .498/.498 w/ 1.5 rocker arms. So what is the lift w/ my 1.6 rockers?

Is there a useful calculation for 1.6 rockers?

If you are currently running 1.5 RRs and have .498/.498 lift, simply divide this number by 1.5. This will give you the 'lobe lift' of the cam. Then, multiply this number (.332) by 1.6 and you get .531" lift with 1.6 rockers.

it just so happens may's issue of chevy high performance gives an equation for ratios

max valve lift is found by multiplying the max lobe lift by the rocker ratio

a cam with 0.350-inch lobe lift with 1.5's yields 0.525-inch valve lift

(0.350 x 1.5 = 0.525)

(0.350 x 1.6 = 0.560)
