where does it go?

where does it go?

There is an electrical connector at the tail shaft of the trans and im not sure where it goes. Its square and about 3 inches long. Right before that there is another connection that plugs into the tail shaft of the trans but is much smaller. any idea what that big square one is? i didnt see it on shbox

Year of vehicle? Manual or automatic? Driver's side or passenger side? Does it look like it connects to something other than the tranny? If its OBD-II, is it possibly the after-cat O2 sensor connector?

Yup, sounds like the after-cat O2 sensor connector. If you dont have O2 sensors downstream of your cats, they have been programmed out (Assuming you dont have an SES light)

passenger side. not sure what it connects to. it could possibly be an after cat o2 sensor, but im not sure.

Does the connector look like it would fit in the one in the picture below - flat four pin

It's not going to look like that, because post cat sensors have square connectors. The OP also said the connector was square.
