I feel like a total idiot asking but I assume I have to remove the springs with a compressor and then what? The heads are off the block.... Thanks guys and don't think any less of me.....

thanks Rob.... Hey I just bought a nifty spring compressor tool from Carquest. It works great and is very easy on the hands. What do you think....


Also, what do you think about the wear on this exhaust valve. It looks pretty new to me...
