Stock 97-Z28 auto. Not very quick at all. As once said my dollars must go far do to a lack of them. Just wanting best steps #1,#2 & #3 to making this car a bit more fun to drive. It is a daily driver to me, however I would like more power.

 

I'd get a Coldair intake and a cutout. Or if the cutout is too loud for ya get a good catback system. Next I'd do headers or gears.

 

this is going to sound bad I just know, but if I want answers I that make sence to me I must reviel how little I know.

I know exhaust will improve HP & is a great way to start. What do people mean when they say full exhaust. And what is the best performing exhaust I can put on this car?

 

You can go to a local hardware store and buy plastic tubing and make your own CAI. Just run it down the driver side front and put the K&N towards the bottom of the car. That will save you some money. See if you can find some used headers on here(long tubes or shorites)which ones you choose is your choise. That's just a simple start.
