Uh, no it's not. Especially not on a stroker. Remember that LS1's are 205cc stock. And also realize that the low lift flow is very good on the AFRs as well, so low speed torque will still be very good also.

LS1's may be 205cc stock but look at the design of the ports, they made the ports tall and skinny for a reason, the thin port design promotes high velocity incoming air to build low rpm torque. The huge 210 AFR LT1 design will not flow well at low rpm because of its older LT1 design. To run the 210 LT1 AFR heads you would need very high compression to compensate for low rpm torque loss. Can some one correct me if I'm wrong?

Your argument is not valid. Check out the flow charts at low lift...the AFR outflows them at EVERY point, despite nearly identical runner volumes! Often, the flow difference is huge. If the AFR velocity was poor, the low lift numbers wouldn't be this much better than the LS1 head, so your point about AFRs losing low rpm torque due to an "older LT1 design" is completely off base. As a matter of fact, stock vs. stock, the LT1 had better low rpm power than the LS1. It was the middle and upper rpms where the LS1 had the advantage.

And in the LT1 world, where strokers are the norm, the AFR 210s are a great fit. My 2 cents, of course!

Your lead to tenperf doesn't work... maybe it's something with the link.

Quite a few people bought procharger and AFR stuff through Dave @ Tenperf, check him out, great customer service..
