Over the weekend I installed my Spohn Torque arm...Which caused me to have to weld me some Flowmaster right off the headers (took off my 3 " true duals, x-pipe,flowmaster,setup off due to New Torque arm)...And had my ET streets Put on my Torque Thrusts ((16's)From the 2000 Z wheels I previously had them mounted)....I went to the track Last weekend....And ran 12.5's all night long with 1.8 60's at 108 mph every pass...After all the changes this weekend I was running 12.7's at 106mph with 60's 1.74's??? What would cause me to Loose the MPH??? The ET's on the hefty TT's ??? Torque arm with too much Pinion angle ( Got confused on measuring...So got the pinion Down just a bit) could it be the mufflers right off the headers, Or the better 60's???? It wasn't the DA it was about the same both nights.....What do you guys think....If I could send someone pics of my pinion angle can someone tell me what it is set at???

 

i just put a spohn adjustable torque arm on my car.....they didn't send u an angle finder with it?...it's supposed to come with one.. i used mine to set my pinion angle at -3 degrees....i lost a little mph too..but my 60 foot got better..i think that's just how it goes...the better 60 foot the less mph..cause ur not spinning the tires..or having more time to build up more speed/momentum....high mph is nice..but i'll take faster e/t's first...

 

what was the angle on the pinion....Looking from the drivers side??? I have the pinion agled slightly down..I did get the pinion angle finder but I got confused on the Math...Go figure....lol I think it said on the instructions getthe pinion angle more than the DS angle....I am gonna take some pics and send to someone and let them tell me where its set at.....
