My brother mounted his inside the console, he has a 3rd gen and ripped out all the wiring since he switched to carb so it was easy for him to do that.

It would probably work on the drivers side fender well, may have to move fuel lines out of the way, but thats not hard, just make sure you secure them down in there new location. Just do some trial and error mounting locations and find the best one... shouldn't be too hard.

I helped a friend to mount his ignition box in his glove box. It was very easy. It really would have been harder to mount it in the engine bay. Who uses the glove box anyway

Mine is just behind the fuse box in the engine compartment, driver's side. Have to slightly relocate fuel lines but no biggie. Will try to take some pics this weekend if I get the nitrous install finished. PM me and I'll email pics when available. BTW, I believe MSD recommends against mounting this unit in a confined space like a glove compartment. Just my $.02. Thanks!

Why would they do that? Its certainly much cooler temp wise in the glove box than the engine compartment. Much easier to make changes for power adders, change rev limiter, etc. And you have relocate nothing. Its easier than mounting it in the engine bay!

Thats the only way to go IMO...

On page 3 of the instruction booklet it reads "It is not recommended to mount the unit in an enclosed area such as the glovebox." I suspect it has to do w/ the unit requiring ventilation. I would agree w/ you that a glovebox mount does allow for easier adjustments. I mounted mine w/ the adjustment side toward the engine bay so it is very accessible. Thanks!

Sent the pics via email last week. Let me know if you got them. BTW, your PM box is full.
Thanks!

Re: where can i mount my msd digital 6 plus

My ignition box is mounted just behind the drivers side headlight, about even with the fuse box...just took a couple of $.59 L brackets...but then again, I've got a blower so that area was unused. It's easy to access and wire, never had a problem. Several buddies cars are in the same place. Mine was originally on the fender, but interferred slightly with the hood and I didn't like the relocation of the fuel lines.

I mounted mine where the factory computer sits in the engine bay, out of the way and very easy to make adjustments. But I have no computer, so in your case it might not be an option.
