where can i get these sensors cheap?

where can i get these sensors cheap?

94 z28 - i need two temp sensors?? they are the sensors that go into the block next to the headers on the motor. had a anitfreeze hose come lose and car got to hot and messed them up.

Are you talking about the Engine Coolant Temp Sensor, the one on the driver side head just below the header and the other one that's in the water pump???? If so any local parts store should have them for about $10-15 each.

As I said in an email response to you:

They only make one casting for the head, so it can be used on either side. When installed, they are a mirror image of each other, so you will see a tapped hole on the rearward side of the passenger head. The 4th gen only uses one sensor and It is factory installed on the driver’s side. There is no harness wiring to accommodate a second sensor for the gauge. There is no harm in leaving the sensor there. It would just act as a plug.

I don't really think the engine getting hot would harm the sensor. I would worry more about other things (like head gaskets) if it really got way hot.
