Where can i get scanning software?

Where can i get scanning software?

To scan my lt1 from my laptop at home. I'm sick of wondering what my problem is also what cables will i need to hook it up to my pcm from my cpu and is it hard to do?

http://www.akmcables.com/ for the cables, LT1Edit or TunerCat for programming, theres free programs like FreeScan or DataMaster.

So could i program my car from my cpu?? with the lt1 edit?? is it hard to do? Where would i go about buying it and where can i find freescan at?

Yes...but you need to read up on the subject before you make changes. Ild recommend Datamaster to log with and LT1 edit or Tunercat to program with .....Go to the link that kevmor99 provided and it will have links to various sights for the programs.

Also heres agreat sight to start learning about programming your pcm.
