Where can i find a 160 stat?????

Where can i find a 160 stat?????
I really dont want to pay $20 for a hypertech stat because that seems a little crazy(considering thermostats at autozone are only like $3). But i went to Autozone to get one and they had one listed for a lt1, but it wasnt a reverse cooling stat. What other part store would carry the 160 stats.

All the reverse cooling tstats for our lt1s are more expensive because of the unique design. Maybe not as much as the hypertech, but more than $3. Make sure it's reversed cooled. All the ones I've ever seen at pepboys or whatever say they are for the LT1 but aren't reverse cooled. Sooooo, Summit is in Reno so I just got the hypertech :-)

Just another Autozone dip****. If they have one listed for your LT1 it should be for reverse cooling. The only one they usually sell is the Hypertech. I have bought the past 3 Hypertech stats I've owned from Autozone. $20 bucks ain't that bad man. I know you can get one for an older small block for a few bucks, but you don't have an older small block you have an LT1.

Just another Autozone dip****. If they have one listed for your LT1 it should be for reverse cooling. The only one they usually sell is the Hypertech. After reading this im pretty convinced that you are retarded. The point i posted this was because the autozone's around here DONT carry thermostats that work w/ reverse cooling, they only carry the ones for the older lt1's which DO NOT work with mine, and i was seeing if there was anywhere else i could try that im not thinking of, or where someone else had gotten one, BEFORE i ordered one online.

look you GD MF, why the hell would Autozone carry Hypertech here and not there? Maybe you don't want Hypertech, I can't give you another brand name right now. But if you do decide to get off your cheap *** and buy a $20 thermostat you should be able to pick it up at Autozone unless they stopped selling them in the past month. Oh yeah almost forgot.....FU!!

Damn dude, I just F'n called Autozone.
Hypertech Thermostat for a 1993 Z28. Mine is a 1995 T/A, so I asked for both cars just to make sure. They gave me the same part number for both cars.
The 160 was 19.99 part number 1008
The 180 was 21.99 part number ... didn't ask for it.
Number I called 1-256-837-9002
They have to order it and can have it tomorrow morning.
