well the cap and rotor are 100% brand new OEM GM units, there the brownish ones not the cheap knock offs.

Just the opti itself is reman and if it has all new electronics in it who gives a rats *** if they reused the plastic ??????????

Think about it

The GM optis aren't getting any cheaper. They've gone up about 40-50 bucks since early this year. When did they start having a core charge?

Places to buy an opti

Jegs makes an opti for $270 and they are in stock. Summit also makes one for about $250. Summit has an Accel one for $300. Summit also has the ACDelco(which is the GM one) vented and non-vented for $310 and $400. They both sell the MSD one, too.

My parts guy told me $290 for a vented opti. I work for a Chevy dealer. I guess I need to hurry up and get one before they go again!!!

The vented optis seem to be quite a bit cheaper than their non-vented counterparts. I wonder if 290 is a good deal. You could probably check GMPartsDirect to get some idea.

Not all of them. Buyer beware, make sure it's a true AC/Delco if you're buying off eBay.

The distributor(optical) side is, not the cap and rotor.
