When should I get these done?

 

a lot of people will upgrade to the lt4 knock mod. when they add roller rockers the extra noise from the rockers can play havoc with the lt1 knock as far as an msd 6 box when ever i would recomend a wire,coil,and plug upgrade at same time

 

Ditto what Mike383LT1 said. I did exactly what he described; excellent results. Installed the MSD 6AL first; great SOTP mod, and followed it w/ the LT4 Hot Cam/ kit w/ new coil (MSD Blaster), MSD 8.5 wires, NGK plugs, and LT4 KM. You should feel the difference! Good Luck!!

 

I have 1.6 rollers and feel as if it is a bit slugish does this mean
I could have a problem with my stock KM??

Where should I buy the KM? Would it be something Napa would have?

 

Gmpartsdirect.com has the LT 4 KM for around 25.00. You can also pick one up on ebay!

 

I believe some people have experienced knock retard with only exhaust mods. I did the lt4 km as one of my first mods.

I had a 94z with hot cam and rockers, headers, cut out, exhaust and had 0 degrees of knock according to my auto x-ray scanner. I also could tell no difference with the coil and 6a. Could be my but meter is broke though
