Used a cheap Craftsman balancer puller kit to pull the hub off. The crows foot was the only thing useful in the kit. Had to go to ACE hardware and fabricate my own setup since none of the bolts were usefull at all. In the end I used 4 grade 8 3/8 course thread bolts (4 1/2"), washers, and nuts. The 4th bolt I had to go back for when I tried using one of the bolts in the kit and nearly got it stuck in the crankshaft. Good thing I didn't screw up the threads. Word to the wise, always spend the extra coin for grade 8 or THIS is what can happen:

The only usefull pieces out of the kit were the 3 items on the left.
Otherwise I used 4 grade 8 3/8 course thread bolts, 3 washers, 3 nuts

I had to pull my harmonic ballancer yesterday. I borrowed a loaner tool from autozone.

It hooked on the inner part of the ballancer. Pulled the unit off without any trouble.
Just figured I'd add that info to this post in case someone searches looking for a good tool to use.
