Pressing out the old guides and installing new ones can be difficult. The guides are a tight interference fit. Cracking the head or galling the guide hole is a risk. You should preheat the heads in an oven prior to guide removal. The head should also be preheated to make it easier to install new guides, which you can also put in the freezer overnight to further ease the interference fit. You should lubricate the new guides before installing them.
I am less of a DIY'er than I used to be. More money, less time, and a greater appreciation for specialization are the reasons. Last time I knew, it cost ~$120 labor to have new guides installed in two sets of heads (16 guides). A set of (16) bronze guides should be ~$75 so the whole job would be in the ~$200 range.

Call your ice house or some truck stops have it. Get a small cooler and line it heavy with newspaper, put some dry ice on the bottom.Put in your guide and more ice on top, break it up so there is ice all around it.Duct tape the lid shut and leave for at least 8 hours.Do not pull out untill ready to install.Make sure you have everything ready. You only have one shot to get it where you want it ,so make sure you are ready and then install. If you screw around with it it will warm up and stick in the bore and it won't be where you want it.
WARNING: HANDLE ICE WITH GLOVES AND PLIARS,AND WEAR SAFTY GLASSES.
It will burn you like a torch and put an eye out in a heartbeat,so handle with care.
EDIT:2# should be enough,it's about $1.50 a #
