When to adjust 1.6 rr's
Hopefully only once?? I've heard mostly that it's best to do them with the motor running. From my understanding, first adjust them with it not running, making sure that the cylinder your'e working on is at tdc, tighten until the push rod has no more up and down movement, plus 1/4 turn, go through all cylinders, then, start motor, back off one at a time until you hear it clatter, tighten until clatter stops, then, 1/8 - 1/4 turn, and tighten lock nut, and hopefully you're good to go.
