i have a solid roller set up. k-800 1.460" valve springs shimmed (175# closed, 500# open). 286/293 cam with .600/.630 lift and full roller rockers.

i assembled everything and kept the retainers and locks that came with my trick flow heads. they are 7 degree locks. it was recommended to me to upgrade to 10 degree retainers and locks. i hate to go through the trouble if its not necessary.

can i use 7 degree locks in this situation?
anyone have 7 degree locks pull through?
what is your guys experience?
