right now i have the stock twisty rims on my 1993 firebird formula. i am wanting to buy the stock 5 spoke aluminum 1995 formula rims. i have some almost bought but i need to make sure of one thing. will these rims fit the tires i have currently for sure? both rims are 16x8 i beleive. also how much will it cost to have the rims swapped at a tire shop?

 

Yes they will fit. The rims are essentially the same thing. Mounting and balancing is usually around $30-50 bucks for all 4 where I live. Dunno about around your place, but it should be similar. You shouldn't get charged extra because your swapping from one kind of rim to another either, they are basically doing the same thing as if you got new tires. Taking tires off, then putting tires on. You should be fine.
