I need to know if the connectors are the same between 94 and 95 4L60e transmissions . I know the speed sensors are , but Im not sure on the main connector . No guesses please , I need to know for absolute sure .

No, they're not the same. The 4L60E went to a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) TCC in '95. This means a '95 unit has one more solenoid than the '94 does. GM changed the case connector to make sure there wouldn't be any way to put the wrong transmission in.
You can interchange the valvebodies and wiring harness...As long as they're done in tandem. Or, you can make a '94 valvebody PWM by installing the TCC control valve line up, and PWM soleniod out of a '95 unit. The valvebody castings are identical.

Thanks for the response Frank . I did find out the guy lied that sold me the trans and it is in fact a 94 I called the dealer and can get the PWM for a 95 , which does come with a new internal harness as well ...that I need . You say the valve bodies are identical castings ? Could you be a lil more specific on retro-fitting this .

Thanks a ton
