Just discovered the air evac tool for coolant systems. Absolutely amazing from Mac tools. Worth every penny and no more air in the engine when working with coolant on any engine including the LT1.

I here you...mine has come in handy many times. I also love my air ratchet. Gear wrenches are great too.

Crazy glue(not the juicy kind,but the thick stuff)(center consol lid ect.),J B Weld,beer,3/8 flexible rachet with shorty extension(plugs),wd-40,and all purpose greese(window guides and door hinges).And of course this board,best in the west.My02

BFH, Haynes manual, beer, very short temper, and being able to punch the damn car, if the car wont cooperate just punch kick hit or spit on the damn thing and trust me itll change its mind.

J/k on post above. The absolutly best tool ever for the lt1 is the stubby tool to change the plugs. It makes it 100% easier.

-LT1Tech !!! for sure, without this website, i wouldve messed up so bad, hell if it wasnt for me being able to do research and get opinions and commentary i would probably never have had the confidence to do any major work on my car!

Absolutly. I have learned just about EVERYTHING I know about cars from this board(with exception of changing oil). With the right tools and this board, I am confident enough to tear apart the motor and do a cam install(If I had a garage )
