What's wrong you think?
Ok, here goes... I just built a 355 w/forged pistons stock crank/rods all arp studded. Ported heads w/2.00intake and 1.56 exhaust, CM 233/239 cam 569/577 on the lift w/ 111 LSA,1.6 pro mags, gasket matched manifold, 52mm TB and 30lb svo's, elec. wp, LT's and it's an M6 car. Ed wright has done a tune on the computer, not dyno tune, just tune. The car only thru down 360rwhp and 347tq??? The air fuel is 14.0 to 1 which is lean. He said I might need to advance the cam 4 degrees. I installed it straight up. What do you guys think is going on?
Re: What's wrong you think?
First of all 360rwhp is a lot saying that you are still running a 350. That is about 414hp at the motor. A 114hp difference over stock. Second the biggest thing about making horsepower is air. So make sure nothing is slowing down the air as it is coming in. The only other think is richen it up a bit 14 to 1 is a little dangerous. I have a supercharger lt-1 350 running 7 pounds of boost with a lot of other mods and I only put down 376hp. That is enough to give you a white knuckle ride when u step on it. It maybe a little late but get a SCAT 3.75 strocker crank for that so u can be up to 383.
Re: What's wrong you think?
I'm thinking that it should also be higher numbers. Another thing too..Rampage139139, you should be pulling more than 376 to the wheels. Seems like you need to check your setup as well.
Re: What's wrong you think?
Everyone I've talked to including Ed Wright says my combo is good for 390rwhp if not abit more. It's also 11 to 1 CR. What do ya'll think about advancing the cam?

If you advance the cam, you better check piston to valve clearance.
