whats wrong???????

Angry whats wrong???????

when i floor my car in 1st gear when it hits about 5000-5300 rpm the car redlines or maybe i mean backfires and abit of black smoke comes out!!!
what can i do?

my car has all ignition stock and 50,xxx miles
help

Buy an aftermarket coil. The coils on the 93-95 cars arent that great and you will get some misfires going high into the rpm range. Get an aftermarket one like either the Accel or MSD for about $50.00 and this will help out a lot.

I agree with the plugs and wires. Sounds like you're getting a little spark plug wire arching. Do the old pop the hood in a dark place and check for sparks of electricity.
