Whats up with my car is this normal?????
i understand the whole thermostat thing, but i'm not following on how the fans go into the car. i understand the benefits of air flow, etc, but do the fans make that big of difference? also, if it's a manual switch, what's the setup like? is there a switch that you feed the wire through the firewall or what? i'm sure alot of this seems near retarded, but i'm still on level 'noob' with fbody knowledge. thanks
The fans make a big differance as far as heat dissapation goes, the cooling effect is definatly noticeable. When i turn my fans off in the morning to let it warm up faster it takes about 1/2 the time to do so. Also, if the fans aren't on when regularly driving, than the car will run around 200* instead of 180*. So thats a pretty big differance.
