Whats next for mods?

Well, I am debating between the following:

FLP Longtubes
Professionally Ported Heads
Used S/C (6-8 psi)

Dont want to spend more than 2g's. What do you guys think?

wouldnt go with a used S/C. Id get the LT's along with some other boltons, if you got the money for head work then thats gonna be the biggest noticeable difference.

My vote would be go with the FLP longtubes since your heads are ported already.

how bout the Tornado air flow booster???

just kidding...sorry...hump day mornings always have me in a tizzy...

i'd say the long tubes as well. but why do you need the FLP's? do you need the emissions? if not go for some dynatechs or Hookers. or you could look inot the GP forum for the new Jet Hot headers that have all emmisions hookups and are being offered for $513 or something like that.

i'd also look into maybe a true dual setup

edit...you already have a cam.

Get the Hookers and with the extra money, port your heads.

LT's. Get your Exhaust squared away. This will only enhance any future modifications.

Thanks for all the responses.

I chose FLP's because of emissions. They come with removeable dual cats and 2 off-road pipes. I have full exhaust, !cat, right now. I dont know how much hp the longtubes will get me. Maybe 10-15rwhp?

Heads would be sweet, but I just did that over the summer and dont know if I can muster up the motivation to do it anytime soon. My heads are homeported, so they are mediocre at best, with stock valves sizes. New Stage 2 heads with my cam should give me 25-30rwhp right.

Now, the one I have the most motivatio for, but maybe not the cash. I cant spend above 2g's. This means I could only get a used one. How safe is that, buying a used one? I would only run 4.5-6 psi (intercooled or not). I figure 6 psi should get me a solid 80-100rwhp.

Exhaust first, then heads, then poweradders. I don't see ET Streets or a rear in your list either, so keep those items in mind.

I got exhaust already. Its just a matter of whether longtubes are that much better than shorties.

My hp #'s are low with my cam compared to others, but they have professionally ported heads.

Rear end is 2000+. Too much for me.
