Whats this code mean?

i just got my headers installed about 1 week ago. Yesterday my dreaded SES light came on. The car also started to smell funny. I scanned the car and the only code that came up was

p0410 then next to that it says 2airinj

P0410 Secondary Air Injection (AIR) system

There is a full list of DTCs on my Tech Page. Check your AIR pump fuse.

where do i check that at? They removed my AIR system when they installed my hooker LT's last week. They also said they blocked off my egr but i don't know how to tell. Would this code make my car run funny or smell funny?

The AIR pump fuse is under the hood. New headers will smell until all residue is burned off of them. If you did not get programming to disable detection of the AIR and EGR, you will probably get codes. OBD-II does not take kindly to their removal.

Thx for the help. Will it make the car run bad if they are not programmed out? Also do you know where i can find a guide or something that shows how to remove the AIR and EGR(ecspecially this) because i want to make sure they did it right.

What part of the car "smells funny"? Engine, exhaust, interior? Hard to even take a stab in the dark without more info than "smells funny". Lacking additional info and knowing you have another post on "running rich".... sounds like you've melted or burned some wires... .harness or plug wires. And you mention you think you have an exhaust leak.... that would make it run rich, smell funny and maybe run poorly.

You need to keep all the related items in one thread.... posting it in two different threads doesn't allow people to understand the whole problem.

And you should have know you would get an SES light for the AIR and/or EGR when you delete them in OBD-II. Who did the deletion? It isn't rocket science... just plugging up some holes, and getting the systems programmed out of the PCM.

Sorry about that. I can't really define the smell. It smells like a burning smell, or like fuel. I'm thinking it could be just fuel that i smell since the car is running so rich. The car isn't misfireing though because i scanned it. I can't see any wires that may of burned up on the headers. The smell has seemed like it went away though. I know that i gotta get the stuff programmed out but i wanted to make sure it was deleted correctly
