Im going to do a cam and 1.7 rockers in the spring, Whats the biggest cam I can run with 1.7s safely? I was leaning toward the cc306, would that be too much lift on stock heads? And is the gm847 too much for this setup with stock heads? thanks

 

The stock heads don't gain in flow after .500 lift so there really isn't any point running tons of lift on stock heads. I see lots of negatives in running 1.7's. 1.7's and a cc306 or gm847 would be lots and lots of lift and you would need some badass valve springs. Why not just run some 1.6's.
