ive seen march, b&m, lg motorsports, and a few other different brands that make pulleys for our cars. who makes the best one and what are the + and - of changing the pulley setup. also if i plan on adding a nice little sound system could i still benefit from a upgraded pulley setup...would i need the crank and underdrive pulleys?

 

most of the companies are the same when it comes to gains with the pullies. i do know that ASP makes the 34% underdrive which i think is the highest percent.

and as for gains...you'll probably see about 1-2 hp and 5-7#'s of torque.

if you are planning a stereo, i wouldn't do the pullies, you'll need all the power you can get.
i personally don't have charging problems, i only notice a small drop in charge wheen i flip on my manual fan switch. others see drastic drops...very debated topic.

hope this sheds some light on the subject.

personally i don't think they are worth the "new" $100 price tag. i got mine for about $50 used...so i figured it was worth it for the few #s of torque and less wear on my accessories.
