I e-mailed Carl at LPP today about the new changes. If he gets back to me I'll let you know. I'm very interested in them since my car is my DD and I live near Chicago. I have a set of Pacesetters but am going to hold off installing them if I can get LPPs.

Definitely LPPs. I've had Pacesetters, MAC mids and Jet Hot LTs, and LPPs take the cake.

Jon ....... great! I would really appreciate being kept "in the loop" regarding anything you hear back from LPP.

Because of fitment issues, I would say Kooks are better than LPP right now. If LPP gets their fitment to rival Kooks, then I would definitely look into them. But I had the money to spend, and the Kooks were worth every penny IMO. Very well designed.

At first I thought the thread title was "What's the best LT1 header for a LT1."

LPP is definitely the best bang for the buck, however they're sold out right now and currently doing minimal corrections to the design (I believe) then they will be reproducing again in a month or two.

When I read it I got the same thing. I was like huh?

LPP look awesome. I've had Hooker, AS&M, Pacesetter, and Jet-Hots.... I like the Pacesetter out of the group. If I were to buy some and didn't need them right away.... LPP.

Where can I buy these headers from? I ran a search and found ls1tech.com is this the site that sells them? If not, where can I get them? Just bought a LT1 crate engine to start over and I want to install a set of these while the engines out.

I already read in this thread that it'll be about 2 months while they're ironing out fitment issues but I'll wait for headers that look this good and get these kind of reviews.

Been a long time since I been on the site, with my car running rough for YEARS, I just didn't drive it. Last time I frequented here coated Hooker LT's were the way to go. Then I read somethin about Kooks a while back, when I seen the price it was a little much for me to spend on headers so this seems like a good alternative that'll still deliver.

Magnaflow or a GMMG($$$) sounds awesome on LT1 cars.

The people over at Kooks are all pissed off over the LPP stuff. Basically saying LPP ripped off their design. Personally if they want to compete I'd think they would need to lower the price. 1400$... come on! For fuggin headers?!
