i actually had some of the reg stage 8 bolts.. didnt like them cause they were hard to get too...
so i went to the tool store and found a allen head screw just like the stage 8.
it makes it soo much easier to get to in the back of the header towards the firewall..
tons tons Easier..
try it out one day.. youll like it.

I'm thinking about getting the ARP stainless 1.00". Man would those look better than the stock Jet Hots! The ARP 1.00" are like 28.69 for 16 of them, stainless steel 12 point! I know I only need 12, but the 16 is a better deal, this is the Summit part number ARP-400-1210 is that the right stuff?

Screw Stage 8's. ARP's are where it's at. They are cheap and work very well. I mistakingly got .75's for my Super Comps, but they work fine.
When I first got my LT's it took at least two hours to get all the Stage 8 junky bolts in and tight. ARP's took no more than 15min. I can get the entire drivers side with a socket except the very back which requires and open end.
As it's already been mentioned regardless of whether you have locking washers or not you should always check to make sure they are tight. Especially with fresh gaskets.

That is one thing I don't want to do is completely remove the header and get new gaskets. I thought about doing that as the original ones from Jet Hot kinda got chewed up. I was thinking about a nice Fel-pro set. The headers won't be nearly as bad because they are already bolted to the car.
