Update: THe light and the fans do come on when the car first starts, sorry for saying this before. But also I went to autozone to get my computer checked and the little thing they kept on pluging into the computer just kept on getting an error message.

 

Have you checked the fuse yet? Instead of having to take it to Autozone, just lift the hood and check the fuse block located near the driverside fender well. If your fuse is blown then you know what the problem is!

 

I checked and yes the fuse is blown, so I'm just going to replace it and see how long it takes to blow the second fuse. BTW does anyone have any ideas as to why autozone could not scan my computer?

 

You have a '95 right? I think autozone only scans '96+ (obd2).

 

hi i just bought my 94 z m6 yesterday and i have the same prob i looked and the 20amp fuse is blown so what do i do to fix it ?
also im missing the asr relay that controls wheel spin
anyone has the part number or should i leave it like that?

i just saw my console and i dont have any asr switch near the lighter but i still see the low trac light in the panel when i turn it on wtf?????

 

You don't have traction control. Even if your car isn't equipped with traction control, the light still works.

do i put a 20 amp or 25 on the air pump?

 

Yeah im having the same problem i push the button nothing happens at all at first i thought it was the button but i never crossed my mind to check the fuse. I have a 96 z-28

 

Scanmaster tells me one trouble code is the cooling fan circuit and the other is the EGR recirculation circuit.

 

Well i have that same problem, BUT my fans do not come on. I had it scanned and it had something to do with the fuel sending unit.

The SES light stays off at a light, but when i give it gas it comes on.

Nothing major that i dont think can hurt anything..

What do you think SHOEBOX?

Thank you search function. Was having the same problem, SeS light would come on after driving for a few minutes, stay on constantly, then shut off after idling for 10-20 seconds at 500 rpm. As soon as I started moving again (or raised the rpms above 500) the light would pop back on. Just ran out with the flashlight, pulled the air pump fuse, and it's blown. Hopefully that's all it is, Autozone can't scan my '95.
