What would this set up be good for in the 1/4?

What would this set up be good for in the 1/4?

Short block has stock LT1 rods and crank with Speed Pro forged pistons and everything has been balanced. It also will have some various ARP bolts. Heads would be LE2 with stock valves and a hotcam. There will also be a 150 shot in there. The tranny is a T56 with a Pro 5.0 shifter and a SPec 3 clutch. Stock rear with 4.10s. Has a few suspension pieces like UMI arms, relocation brackets, and adj, phb and no front sway bar. It has drag radials on stock rims also. What would this set up be good for in a 95 TA with a good driver?

Mid 12s N/A. I'm no good at guessing N20 numbers though.

IMO you need more cam. Hotcam isn't a very hot choice IMO. There are better grinds out there. I guess with the split though it would be a decent nitrous cam, but maybe more overlap than you'd want with N20???

Hmm I was hoping for better than that because there are bolt on cars that run mid 12's.

Most of the "bolt -on " cars that are hitting mid 12s are shedding alot of weight. If you want to just drive up bolt on some stickies and let er rip , it will be hard to go mid-low 12s with the Hott cam (but not impossible).

well im exactly the same but without the pistons and im running mid 12s but i may weigh a lil more cause mines a convertible so take those in consideration and i say maybe a low 12 sec car

You should make the power to go pretty fast. I would choose a better cam though. It's going to depend completely on how well you can launch the thing. I was running 12-teens at 112-113 with 1.74 60's. After working on the chassis, and getting a real converter I'm running high 11's with a totally stock longblock with 104k. A 50 shot took off another .5 down to 11.44 @ 117. A 150 shot with good traction should get you in the 10's pretty easily.

My short block and heads are stock (60K), and I haven't removed any weight from my 1997 Z28 (3410 lbs) I've gone 12.72 w/ 1.81 60ft time in very hot weather. Next, I'm going to replace my 2600 flash stall with a Vigilante 9.5" w/ 3200. With the Vigilante and some cooler weather, I expect mid, to low 12s.

1997 Silver Z/28 LT1-Auto w/ 30 th Anniversary navy blue stripes and Chrome ZR1 wheels
Kooks Long-Tubes w/ Off-Road Y-Pipe and Cut-Out (no Cats), LT4 Hot Cam, Valve Springs and Crane 1.6 Roller Rockers, GM Performance Roller Timing Chain, Aeromotive Fuel Regulator, 3.73 Gears, TCI 2600 Flash Stall, MSD Coil and Plug Wires, K&N Air Intake, PCMforLess Performance Program, LT4 KM, Under-Drive Pulleys, Aluminum Driveshaft, Aluminum LCAs w/ Relocation Brackets and a few undisclosed performance upgrades. (Best ¼ time; 12.72 @ 108.3 MPH) No-N02!
