What would be easier, putting long tubes in from the top or bottom with the engine dissambled (NO HEADS ON THE CAR)? Do I have to unbolt the steering linkage?

Passenger side would need to come from the bottom, and the driver side can go from the top.

Thanks! What is stopping the passanger side from going in from the top? There is only going to be a block and the power steering is removed...

you might get away with installing it from the top on both sides. I did'nt have the luxury of having my heads off when I put mine in, I tryed but the heads were in the way. going from the bottom sucks cause you must lift the car very far off the ground to get clearance, and take out the motor mount bolt and lift that side of the engine to squeeze it in. Since your doing all that at once your gonna notice a hela of a difference. I know how you feel havin to wait to install, I've been wanting to throw in a hotcam, but this 15 degree weather really bites. As soon as it warms up to a consistent 30-40 degrees I'm gonna go for it.

i have been trying to get it in the top!!! It hits the motor mount and it hits a (lockout solenoid?) on the t56. If I could just get it to clear the motor mount it would just slide in!!!
