after i get my headers completly on, would it hurt anything if i drove it about 3 min away to the muffler shop to get the rest welded on and hooked up


would it hurt anything to run it for such a short period of time?

Not at all. The only thing you will hurt is your ears. its gonna be LOUD!!! depending upon weather you have shorties or long tubes there may be a problem. with long tubes you will have no problems but with shorties the collectors will be pointing right at your starter and your oil filter. so you may want drive it slowly or if you got a Y-pipe with the shorties put it on before you drive it.

did you get a Y-pipe with your macs? I did with mine. well anyways you will be fine if you have your Y-pipe on. its gonna be loud though I remember when i took my car up to the exhaust shop after putting my macs on. The Y-pipe exited RIGHT under the passenger seat and everydamn thing in the car shook and rattled like no tommorow.

When I did my headers I had to drive around for almost two weeks with them open before I found a shop that would do a custom y-pipe without cats.

Earplugs, earplugs, earplugs.....running open headers is pretty cool but gets old and will give you a headache in a hurry.
