found that this wire is sniped on my harness. what is it to?

def need to find out what connector that is. (COLOR) they are coded A-? ports what wire is the port in?

I do believe it is the BLUE port. It could very well be the RED one also. I cant make sure right now it is at a different house.

It looks like it was purposly cut like that, there is a section of wire missing, its not just snipped. AFAIK this was taken out of a perfectly fine running vehicle.

black and whites are normally grounds, make sure its the right color connector your looking at and the right port...

What kind of car? Your signature indicates you have a "1991 Z/28 LB9 5spd". If you had an LT1 with a 6-speed, I'd guess someone might have cut the wire to the "skip shift" indicator light. But without knowing the details of the car, its sort of hard to help.

THe harness you are looking at is out of a 94 LT1/M6 car.
