i bought it from a friend that had it in his 383 for 2k miles. he built it for nitrous. and said it was a nitrous cam.

its been along time since i heard it, so what do you think it would sound and run like with stock heads, manifolds (temporary), 1.6rr good springs and stock tune for now.

will it lope any? will it improve power any? and with that lobe seperation and duration will it hurt mileage much?

 

Those spec are very similar to the cc305, so it should run similar. It will have a slight lope, max power around 5500, and it’ll be a good n2o cam due to the large lsa and good split of 10 degrees.

 

i want it to have a decent lope when you listen for it, but if i was to just pull up to someone and say its stock except exhaust. they would believe me.

maybe i could idle it down to 600 or so for sound, then hold the idle up to 900 when i talk to someone at a light.

what type of increases are people seeing with the cc305?
