If I took my car to a shop to get the oil pan gasket replaced what, roughly, would this cost me? Thanks

 

My absolute guess would be around 2-300 dollars. When I did my oil pan gasket it took me about 3 hours working straight through. At the shop rate of $60-$70/hour, that's about $200 plus parts.

Keep in mind though that it's been quite a few months since I changed my gasket, so my actual time spent may be a little off. But normally shops estimates of time are little lower than it would take your average garage mechanic on jack stands to do the work.
