I have a 95 Z28 Camaro LT1 with a factory standard cam does it have standard lfters or are they roller lifters from the factory?

Reason for asking I am thinking of a cam and lifter ungrade as my next project when I get my 3.73's and Nitrous sorted.

What would be a good cam with my mods below bearing in mind it's a daily driver drag raced once a month a the the track.

You have hydraulic roller lifters. As far as cam I like cc306, but you may prefer cc305 with your mods.

Thanks for that Cmking 26 I thought I had roller lifters after seeing some used ones for sale on Ebay from years close to the z28.

What is the difference between a cc306 and a cc305 is the cc306 like the LT4 came I only do 3,500 miles a year using the car for travelling to work and public track days at my local drag strip.

With my mods so far I still get 12-13 around town and 20 on a long run and changing the gears to 3.42's I noticed a little increase in revs but now it feels like it's always been that way.

CC306 is not like the LT4 hotcam. It has more duration and more lift. It requires better springs, and will lope alot harder. It will make more horsepower at a higher RPM. Do a search and you'll find alot more info.
