What is the black flat square that attaches to the factory duct that directs air towards the factory air filter? It is about 4" square and has two electrical connections going into it. I have always wondered what that thing is and what it does.

I think I know what your talking about, I always thought it was for the headlights...

 

Anyone else have any ideas or know for sure?

 

I'm pretty sure it's the headlight control thing, cus camaros dont have one.
