what spring compressor

Hello everyone im going to be doing a cam wap in a few months nd was wondering
What spring compressor to buy part number if anyone knows it for my 96 lt1 would ls1 spring compressor work on lt1 thanks

If you can find a Crane valve spring tool OR a Tim's Tool both of those work great.

To be honest they're all a pain in the ***. The screw type is good but if you have room the bar is fun too. If you're using beehives the screw type is good for install and removing. I liked using the bar to pull the stockers off.

I have one of the Crane ones for the LT1. It's part number 99473-1. It appears that Summit still has it.

It's for 3/8" studs. You may have to drill it if you have 7/16"(like I have now...have not tried it on 7/16" studs)....or use some old 3/8" studs.

Oh yeah! I have that one too, good amount of space with the hives. Annoying part is tightening and loosening up those little nuts. I think might striped or started to wear out the bolt on the tool that they screw into.
