What are some good pistons for nitrous?

I am going to have to rebuild my LT1 again. I want some good cheap forged pistons for nitrous. My motor is a 355. Will the rest of the internals hold up to a 125 shot?

thanks

A KB hypereutectic would be just fine on a 125 shot. Ask me how many of my friends are doing more than that on them every weekend.
If I just had to have forged (and inexpensive) I'd go with SRP.

i noticed that summit sells a rebuild kit that comes with SRP forged pistons for like $530. I will probably do that if i decide not to do a stroker kit.

thanks

Mindgame's suggestion for KB is good if you want to keep costs down. A decent forged piston that is also reasonably light weight is 2-3x as expensive. That's what I would get, but it's partly a matter of what you can afford, like many things. A strong wrist pin is also important for hi-po use. If it were me, I'd get JE with their HD wristpins.

how do you think the rest of the engine will hold up. It is all being rebuilt now so there will be no defective parts and everything will be in good condition. Are the stock rods and crank if in good shape strong enough for a 125 shot? I will never run more than a 150.

thanks

Your bottom end will be fine for up to 150 shot on your stock crank/rods. But I would replace the rods at the same time while it's apart. I was going to reuse mine also becuase of money issue but I got some thrown in for free on my rebuild. Thank you Speed Inc.....
