Im about to install a XE 224/230 cam kit from Combination Motorsports. The kit comes with the 1.6 RR's, springs, locks and retainers. Im also getting new pushrods and a new timing chain. I know that Im gonna have to get the computer tuned also. Is there anything else I may need to look into while doing all this?

If you have the time and money,get your heads done...$$$ I know,but you will be half way there already.Also,you need a gasket kit.New opti,perhaps?

 

Hey how much was that whole kit? I wanna get that 230/236 cam kit and the cams are the same price so i figured i'd ask.

 

The whole kit comes with any XE grind you want, the 1.6 CC Pro Mag RR's, .600 lift valve springs and locks and retainers for $589. Good *** deal!

 

Get new serpentine belt, check your hoses, waterpump, and opti.Do new plugs and wires if needed.
