i replaced a blown head gasket, and am beginning to put everything back on. What should I leave off that will make the header install easier?

 

starter, steering linkage, alternator, valve covers, power steering pump, ASR box if you have one........

anyone else wanna add anything?

 

Dipstick.

[edit] I installed my LT's with only the dipstick, starter, and alternator removed.

 

The power steering pump isn't necessary. You might have to take the passenger side motor mount loose.

 

they are right, only alternator, dipstick and started are required, but you will find that removing as much as possible in the beginning will make your life much easier in the end. its a lot easier to get to the first bolt on the passenger side with the power steering pump out. trust me, leave everything you can out.

 

i never took the PS pump out to begin with

 

Drop the k-frame and they will slip right in. Get a light weight k-frame.
