What should i buy first..HEADS or HEADERS.

im a little comfused, what u guys think i should buy first Hooker headers long tubes or a set of new performance heads for my 1994 trans am LT1 ,shes stock, all shes got is a flowmaster series 40 mufler and a new KNK fuel injection ram sistem, sucks air from botom 8-(. but i did noticed the dif from the day i installed it even at top speeds, gets there faster and acelerates much faster too, not a bad way to spend 200 bucks, and another 155 for the flowmaster 8-)

Headers for sure, Stock Manifolds flow like crap! If you got heads you wouldn't be able to fully utilize them.

Headers for sure first....I wouldn't consider heads until you can use their benefits. I would go with gears next (you said stock so I'm assuming everything is stock) if its an auto then a converter would be my next mod then probably a cam set AND THEN start looking into heads.

I'm with these guys--go with headers. You have to get 'er breathing better to start out.

Not even a question, go with headers. Heads and cam come after all the bolt ons

THink of it this way. It makes no sense to bring in a ton more air if you can't expel that air equally as fast.

Headers.

Headers without a doubt. I wouldn't consider heads until you've done all the bolt-ons and suspension work.

Headers first. You would be disapointed with the gain you felt with the heads without the headers.

Headers.
Even though in the end the heads will show larger gains than the headers probably will, you won't see those gains without freeing up your intake and exhaust first. You've gotta do the outside before you can start working on the big stuff. - And I'd do heads and cam at the same time, if you want to do heads and you've got the dough- you'll need a bigger cam in there to utilize the extra flow the heads will be giving you.
