Since ill be banking some money this summer, i want to get my first major mod. Im here to ask you guys what i should get for under a grand?

 

what do u currently have?

 

right now i have a flowmaster cat back k&n oh ya! and a high flow mass air sensor which isnt much to brag about...i need a big jump in horse...

 

one grand won't buy you much, just get a n2o kit if power is what you want for that much money

 

what about headers...what a good brand to get long tube? i saw some people talking about shorties, hookers, what a good buy for those around 500, what brand?

 

i would go for headers, cold air intake, and subrame connectors then. 200 for the cai, 160 for the sfc's, and depends on what brand for the headers.

 

If you want to see the most power and feel it for a grand:
Long Tube Headers from pacesetter uncoated $289
Y-pipe $100
Cut the cat, what ever an exhaust shop charges $100-200
Subframe Connectors $140-240
Tires $100-300 a piece, just rears for right now
PCM tunning $150
Also do you have an automatic or a 6-speed?

 

i have a 6speed ws6...so i guess i dont really need cold air ive got ram air...
