What shaft mounts are you running?

I am running stud mounts and a girdle.....this stuff has got to go. Everytime I adjust the valve then tighten the girdle it moves the stud and my lash changes.

It is also a huge pita to mess with. So I will run what I have for now...but want some shafts soon.

What are my options and how do you like them?

t&d? jesel?

Running the Jessel SS rockers. I line em. The only problem I ran into was that they don't fit over the ARP head studs. They come with new low profile bolts with a Torx head and they do supply the tools also. I am running +.100 valves and with them you install a supplied shim under the stands. With them the rocker stands almost clear the studs. I honestly could have probaby made the studs work by pulling them and machining off some of the tops of them... I opted to just use the ARP bolts they gave me.

I hear the T&D's work with studs... not sure though. They are more expensive, I went with the Jessels that my machine shop recommended.

I didn't use studs anyway, can I get the SS series in a 1.5/1.6 ratio?

I have the Jesel SS also. 1.6/1.6. On my 190cc AFRs everything fit good and my Proform valve covers cleared them too.

A quick peak at Jegs shows about $900 for the setup.

depends on which ones you get. The Sportsman series run about $795. If you shop around you can get them just a tad cheaper at around $780 ish. At least thats what I paid last year for them...

Same here. The durability and ease is worth the extra money

I got mine from Scoggin-Dickey in April, part # KSS336060:

$775.00
Shop around, there is a large price spread on the same part #s

Hey mdaction something quick on adjusting your valves with the stud girdle, I was having the same problem and what I found to work was to set the lash and tighten the poly lock until I could barely pull out the feeler gauge then tighten the stud girdle and rechecked the lash and it would come out perfect.
