What rim should i mount Slicks on?

this is were i know little info about.

What rims to mount slick tires.

I want to get a pair of 16" salad shooters cause they are cheap as dirt, but what is the max size slick could i mount to that.

Also i want slicks, not no stinkin drag radial.

THE STICKY ICKY STUFF .

Also I'm getting a Moser 9" anyday now

I see a common height would be 28x11.5x16 micky thompsons

What benifits would 14" or 15" or 16" or 17" rims over each other and what rim width would i need for a 10. or 11.5 tire?

Well, the smaller the rim size the more sidewall you can have on the tire and more flex it will allow. Most get a 15'' rim and the widths will vary but you can fir a 10'' slick on a 8'' rim or wider.

If you are planning on mounting a good tire on your car then I would recommend going with a 26x11.5x16 MT Steet ET. Just remember whenever you run a sticky tire you run a chance of blowing up your rearend.

Ok then that is good. I think a 28 in tire will be too big for your setup.

Agree, good combo. My heavy *** car with a "road race" type suspension was pulling low 1.5 sec 60' times with that wheel/tire combo.
