What plugs for cc306 Cam

I had the TR 55's (i think) and was getting a studder at 5500 - 6000 rpm's.

Was thinking it was a fuel problem at first but it seams that the stock Inj. are doing ok for now and my fuel presure doesnt surge at all at WOT

So someone said maybe i needed difrent plugs for the cam..I duno what do u guys think?

not sure about a different type of plug but possibly a colder setting, maybe gapped at .035-.045

Re: What plugs for cc306 Cam

i highly doubt the problem is your plugs... many people run the tr55's with a variety of different head/cam combos... you could try making the gap a tad smaller, but I doubt that is the problem...

If you just installed a cam, you may want to check the opti...

If you swapped to vented opti, make sure the dowel pin length is correct on the new cam... if it is too long it'll damage the opti...

if the plugs or wires are kinda old, it may be time for a tune up...

could also be a faulty ignition module, etc...

and the last thing I can think of off the top of my head is the pcm rev limiter...

sometimes the dash tac is not always accurate... once I hooked up my digital ignition I noticed my tac was off by almost 200rpms... and the stock rev limit is just a bit under 6k i believe...
